The Cottage on Kingsley Interior Design Co. is a Residential Full-Service Interior Design Firm. Although we don’t have a physical brick and mortar location (yet…), the Principal Designer and Owner of the Business, Jess Bergeron, is fully committed to helping you reclaim your time and energy by designing your next home.
The Cottage on Kingsley: Our Story
Jess and her husband Eric took a leap of faith during the 2020 Pandemic, purchasing their first home—a charming 1956 Lake Cottage tucked away in the picturesque hills of Upstate New York. At the time, Jess was committed to her corporate career, working as a Traveling Team Leader for a Contact Center in Corporate Banking.
As they embarked on the journey of renovating their cozy cottage, Jess discovered a newfound passion for interior design. The process of transforming their home sparked her creativity and ignited a desire to learn more about the art of designing beautiful and functional interiors. This led her to enroll in The Interior Design Institute, where she honed her skills and earned her certification.
Fueled by her love for design and the satisfaction of creating a home that truly felt like it reflected their lifestyle, Jess made a bold decision. In 2021, she stepped away from her corporate role to pursue her dream full-time, launching The Cottage on Kingsley Interior Design Co. Her journey from corporate leader to creative visionary is a testament to following one's passion and the transformative power of pursuing what truly makes you happy.
